The largest exhibition of Marc Chagall began its work in ItalyIn Milan's Palazzo Reale (Royal Palace) the largest an exhibition of works by Marc Chagall in Italy opened. It presents more than 200 works by the artist. 

The paintings that make up the exhibition were brought to Italy from private collections and major museums: the Russian Museum, the Washington National Gallery of Art, Centre Pompidou in Paris, the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and MoMA. 

The exhibition will feature works created from 1908 to 1980 years. The exposition will be shown in chronological order and include a biography Shalaga main periods: the early years in Russia, the first visit to France, staying in Russia before immigrating in 1921, the American period (1940) and returned to France in 1947. In Milan, the exhibition will run until 18 January 2015, after which it will be moved to Brussels.
