Guidelines for the tourist visiting Kazakhstan

Location. Kazakhstan is located in the heart of Eurasia, a large part of which belongs to Asia, and smaller part to Europe. It is located between the Caspian Sea, the Lower Volga region, the Urals, Siberia, China and Central Asia.

Climate. The climate in the country is mainly sharply continental. Documents required to get visa:

6 Do not send the documents and visa application forms to the Embassy by post. Documents sent by mail will not be processed. The Embassy cannot be held responsible in case of loss of documents when you send by mail! You should apply in person or through a travel agency.

Please note that in the consular posts of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, located in the international sectors of the airports of Astana, Almaty, Atyrau, Uralsk and Ust-Kamenogorsk simplified procedure for obtaining a visa to Kazakhstan is not applicable. Customs. Persons, regardless of their nationality, are allowed to import foreign currency cash and local currency without restrictions to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Import and/or export of foreign cash and/or the national currency to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan/from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the equivalent of greater than $ 3,000, is subject to mandatory customs declaration with an indication of the entire amount of imported / exported currency. Duty free import of 1,000 cigarettes or 15 cigars or 1kg of tobacco, alcoholic beverages  up to 2 liters (malt beer up to 5 liters), 100 liters of petrol, 150 liters of diesel fuel are allowed and decorations, food items and household items - within the range of personal needs.

Precautions and recommendations during your stay at the hotel: keep your money, documents and valuables in the hotel safe. If the room has a mini bar, all drinks taken from him during your stay must be paid on the day of departure at the reception of the hotel.

Precautions on excursions: before each tour, check availability of tickets for this tour. Do not take a large amount of cash; do not be late to pick up the bus at the beginning of the tour.
