The Festival of fine and applied arts of Uzbekistan, will take a place from 21 to 25 April in Tashkent, held annually. This time it is dedicated to the Year of attention and care for the older generation. The organizer of the festival - the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan in cooperation with several other organizations and educational institutions.

The event will be held at several venues: the Central Exhibition Hall, the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan, Tashkent House of Photography, park-museum Kamoliddin Behzod, the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan, the International Caravanserai of Culture, Youth Theater. In addition, the festival includes events in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions of the country.

In addition to the recognized masters of fine and decorative art of our country, as well as students of specialized educational institutions of art and their teachers, expected participation of foreign visitors in the festival program. Japanese photographer Shota Nagase will submit his photos. There will also be a personal exhibition of the artist Valdis Bush's.

Next to the famous central exhibition hall of the Academy of Arts will be held master classes for students in different directions: sculpture, painting, ceramics, jewelry. Also during the festival scheduled "round tables", thematic forums, fashion shows in traditional style. On the festival will take a place "Days of Japanese culture", the program which will include a demonstration of traditional Japanese arts.
